Hongo theme is completable to work with “MailChimp for WordPress” plugin. You can add a newsletter form into your website using this plugin.
To set up the mailChimp form, please follow below mentioned steps.
Step 1: Go to admin panel > MailChimp for WP > Forms.
Step 2: You can find the shortcode for the integrated form at the end of the page. Copy the shortcode as shown in below image.
Step 3: Go to Appearance > Widgets and add Hongo Newsletter to any sidebar on the right side of the current window and add copied shortcode in it.
Step 4: Go to Footer section and add this sidebar area using Widgetised Sidebar shortcode.
Now you can see added newsletter see in footer section on site.
